To respond to increasingly urbanised environments, Castrol have developed Castrol MAGNATEC with patented DUALOCK technology. 

Castrol's unique MAGNATEC DUALOCK technology is a world first. The molecules cling to critical engine parts and lock together to protect the engine against warm-up wear and stop-start wear. This forms a powerful "force-field" of protection reducing both warm-up wear and stop-start wear, each by 50% (tested vs the API SN wear limit in the Sequence IVA test, and the ACEA wear limit in the OM646LA test).
